An anecdote is basically a short story about something that happened; I started this blog to practice writing by turning my experiences into anecdotes. (Unfortunately, there was nothing going on in my life at the time 'cause I was homeschooled).
The word anecdote is also very similar to antidote, which is how I came up with the title of my blog. I find that sharing my embarrassing, crazy, and exciting stories makes it easier for me to deal with my feelings (and it makes my parents laugh sometimes; thanks for being the only consistent reader of my blog, mom!)
